About the owner

When people ask me why I became a bed and breakfast owner, I would invariably answer: that's because I had lost my job and was too lazy to find myself another one! In fact, it was the best thing that could ever happen to me because I always wanted to be my own boss and the business would prove in time to be an excellent outlet for my pent up creativity.
All the ingredients we're there. I had this beautiful early 20th Century house completely restored and with time it became the b&b that I would have always wanted to stay in while traveling abroad. I had fallen in love with this typical French-Canadian working class neighborhood which I considered represented the true spirit of Montreal and which I wanted to convey to my future guests.
My friendly and easy going nature makes it possible to establish a convivial but yet respectful rapport with people.
Add my love for cooking the breakfasts my mom's used to cook me when I was a child and also the fun I have sharing about subjects like music, cinema, comics, arts, etc.
Lastly, my never ending curiosity and love for foreign cultures act has a catalyst for always interesting and constructive conversations on a multitude of subjects with my guests.
