Hello and welcome to Auberge Presbytère Mont Lac-Vert. The Auberge Presbytère is more than a simple inn, it’s a journey into the past. Located in an enchanting decor, a few minutes away from the Mont Lac-Vert, the Auberge Presbytère has preserved its nature of long ago. You will be warmly greeted in a crazy atmosphere where you will benefit of the exceptional tranquility of countryside landscape which will surely inspire you.

The inn, in the past, was the first presbytery of the municipality of l’Ascension de Notre Seigneur (The Ascension of Our Lord) in the Lac St. Jean area. It was built in 1917. The building acted as a presbytery until 1978. It was then sold and moved in sections, some thirty miles further, to its present site here in Hébertville. The vocation of the presbytery was changed to one of a country home. With the advent of the Mont Lac-Vert ski centre and its development, it was decided to convert the old presbytery into an inn, in February 1986.

The inn has six bedrooms, each with individual washrooms. There is also a dormitory, living room, conference room, dinning room, terrace and a reception room with bar and fireplace. In the reorganization of the inn, we have maintained the character of the building which highlights various pieces of furniture from that era.

For the meals, you will be welcomed into our intimate room where you will experience an out-of-the-ordinary gastronomy. Our table d’hôte and regional products will delight your palate. To fully compliment your meal, you may choose a good wine from our wine selection. All of this is in an ambience filled with the warmth of an ancestral décor. With its charm and elegance of yesterday, our bar will win your heart. It may be an occasion for a comfy evening around the fireplace. Our bar with its receptions hall, is a place of choice for family reunions, office meetings or to meet friends.

Due to its geographic location, the Auberge Presbytère is within proximity of all tourist attractions either in the Lac St. Jean or Saguenay region.
