The first Chez Gréco restaurant was established in  Roberval, Lac-Saint-Jean, in May 1987. Located close to tourist attractions (Val-Jalbert, Zoo de St-Félicien), one can appreciate the personal touch of the owners, giving Chez Gréco its distinctive character.

Roberval's success triggered the urge to expand. Thus started the Chez Gréco's adventure.  In 1989, the second restaurant opened its doors in Rimouski, in the Lower Saint Lawrence tourist region. A third restaurant was created in the city of Ste-Foy, in the greater Québec area, just minutes away from the major tourist attractions and summer and winter activities. In 1995, Chez Gréco holds its own at Lévis, close to golf courses. 

Finally, in 1996, influenced by the beauty of the North Shore and by the increasing success, Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles are added to the vast Chez Gréco family.
