Wednesday January 09th  2008

 

At the Pourvoirie Daaquam St-Just-de- Bretenières

 

5.30 pm and + Supper of Musher to the Pourvoirie Daaquam (obligatory reservation).

5.30 pm to 7.30 Reception of the runners 34 miles and inscriptions of last minutes for the pulling of the positions.

8 pm Pulling of the positions and handing-over of the numbers.

 

Thursday January 10th  2008

 

At Lac Etchemin

9.00 am  Meeting of Mushers and Handing-over of the missing numbers

9.00 am  Marking of the dogs.

10.00 am Departure of the race 34 miles “class 12 dogs” (1st stage)

 

 

At the Pourvoirie Daaquam St-Just-de- Bretenières

 

8 am to 11.00 am Inscription of last minutes for the race of 8  miles, (surtax of 5$ per inscription). The runners will leave following the participants pulling the day before.

12.00 pm  Meeting of Mushers and Handing-over of the missing numbers.  

1.00 pm  Marking of the dogs.

2.00 pm Departure of the race 8 miles “class 8 dogs” (1st stage)

Friday January 11th  2008

 

At the Pourvoirie Daaquam St-Just-de- Bretenières

 

7 am to 8.00 am Inscription of last minutes for the race of 18 miles, (surtax of 5$ per inscription). The runners will leave following the participants pulling the day before.

2.00 pm Departure of the race 8 miles “class 8 dogs” (2nd  stage)

3.30 pm  Handing-over of the purses for the 8 miles race

5.30 pm and + Supper of Musher to the Pourvoirie Daaquam (obligatory reservation).

5.30 pm to 7.30 Reception of the runners 6 miles, 12 miles OPT and 4 miles and inscriptions of last minutes for the pulling of the positions.

8 pm Pulling of the positions and handing-over of the numbers.

 

At St-Camille for the 18 miles race

 

10.30 am Meeting of Mushers and Handing-over of the missing numbers.  

10.45 am Marking of the dogs.

10.45 am Departure of the race 18 miles “class 10 dogs” (1st stage)

 

At Lac Etchemin for the 34 miles race

At St-Camille for the 18 miles race

 

9.15 am Meeting of Mushers and Handing-over of the missing numbers.  

10.00 am Departure of the race 18 miles “class 10 dogs” (2nd  stage)

 

At the Pourvoirie Daaquam St-Just de Bretenières

 

7.00 to 9.00 am Inscription of last minutes for the race of 6 miles, 12 miles, Sprint 1/4 miles (surtax of 5$ per inscription). The runners will leave following the participants pulling the day before.

Handing-over of the missing numbers.  

10.00 am  Meeting of Mushers.

10.30 am  Marking of the dogs for the 6 miles.

11.30 am Departure of the race 6 miles “class 6 dogs” (1st stage)

12.30 pm Marking of the dogs for the 12 miles Departure race 12 miles “Open Pro Tour” (1st stage)

1.30 pm Departure race 12 miles “Open Pro Tour” (1st stage).

3.30 pm Handing-over of the purses for the 34 miles race

Sunday January 13st , 2008

 

At St-Camille for the 18 miles race

 

7.45 am Meeting of Mushers and Handing-over of the missing numbers.  

8.30 am Departure of the race 18 miles “class 10 dogs” (3rd   stage)

 

At the Pourvoirie Daaquam St-Just de Bretenières

 

7.00 to 8.00 am Inscription of last minutes for the race of 4 miles(surtax of 5$ per inscription). The runners will leave following the participants pulling the day before.

Handing-over of the missing numbers.  

9.00 am  Meeting of Mushers for the 4 mile, 6 miles and the 12 miles and Handing-over of the missing numbers

10.00 am Departure of the race 6 miles “class 6 dogs” (2nd  stage)

12.00 pm Departure of the race 4 miles “class 4 dogs”

13.00 pm Departure race 12 miles “Open Pro Tour” (2nd  stage).

3.00 pm Handing-over of the purses for the 18 miles, 12 miles, 6 miles  race

 

 

 

 

NR.B: The program is likely to be modified without notice.

 

 

N.B.: The race schedules may differ slightly from the above due to television and radio coverage of the events. The race schedules would allow every runner to be able to take part in many races. Schedules could change if necessary. If there aren’t enough runners, the amount which is not awarded is kept for the next edition 2009 of the race. In case of a trial’s cancellation due to the elements, the purses will be awarded judging by the results of the performed steps.

Getting here from the USA: From Augusta in Maine (3h30min); From Augusta to Jackman take the 201. At St-Georges (Quebec) take the 204 East, at St-Just-de-Bretenieres turn right after the church and follow the blue "Pourvoirie Daaquam" road signs.
