"I have a little workshop where I work alone taking good care of the wood I use. Exclusive creations make the most of my production, the other part being outside doors and interior mouldings. Occasionally, I do antique reproductions. The types of wood used in my creations are principally yellow birch, american black cherry, maple and ebony. To those you can add a variety of other different woods depending on availability. I do have a preference toward curly yellow birch that is carefully selected at the sewing stage done at a friend sawmill. The wood is air-dried a full year then, put in a homemade dryer for the final drying stage."
