2-0 Summary of Park Regulations
2-1 To protect resources and ensure the safety and
well-being of visitors,
parks are governed by a number of regulations, notably the
following.
2-2 You are not allowed to:
-hunt, trap, disturb, attract or feed the animals.
-fish in fresh water(ponds, lakes, rivers creeks etc.)
-remove, mutilate, or destroy any natural features(wildlife,
plants, fossils
driftwood, deadwood etc.)
-camp outside designated campsites
-make excessive noise at any time
-let pets wander freely without a leash
Remember that seat belts must be worn when riding in
vehicles and
that the highay code applies at all times.
2-3 Additional Information
Ski trails are groomed mechanically and are reserved for the
exclussive
use of cross-country skiers'.
Domestic animals are allowed in the park except on groomed
trails
and in the shelters.
Certain trails are utilized by visitors skiing, snowshoeing
and dog-sledding.
Prudence is reccomended in these areas.
There is no ski patrol service on the trails. Therefore, we
suggest visitors
advise a third party as to their location and estimated time
of return.
