In the middle of the Saint-Lawrence-River, where sea and mountains merge, one can find a genuine little paradise island, the Isle-aux-Coudres.

This historical site, discovered by Jacques Cartier in 1535, and rediscovered by the movie maker Pierre Perreault around 1960 thanks to its movie trilogy on the warmth and charisma of islanders, has a rich history characteristic of its inhabitants. It was populated along the years by families of farmers and sailors that have, in a noble manner, shown the way to today's islanders, leaving them in legacy a strong sense of belonging and commitment to their heritage.

Known today as a resort well appreciated by all, the island abound with activities for open air as well as for history enthusiasts.

What a wonderful blend energizing and unforgettable blend:  your spirit of adventure and romanticism, the island, its nature, its tranquility and its inahbitants.

Make Tide... Alone, with your family, with you lover or with a group, the Perron Family with its wealth of islander traditions and conviviality...

... "AWAITS YOU!"

Every day from 7:30 am to  11:30 pm, a free ferryboat shuttles between the island and the dry land.
