Located between Baie St. Paul and Tadoussac, an hour and 30 minutes drive northeast of Quebec City, the inn is at the heart of the cultural and outdoor activities of the beautiful Charlevoix region.

Located on a hillside, away from the road, surrounded by two and one half acres of land, this summer villa, filled with antiques, dates back to 1892. The original architecture and ambiance has been carefully preserved.

Our spacious dining room with fireplace is where a healthy and generous buffet-breakfast is served. Many guests prefer to eat on the large, sunny porch overlooking the grounds and the St. Lawrence River.

Adjacent to the dining room is a large parlor with a field stone fireplace where guests are invited to relax and enjoy soft classical music.

Chantilly LA CHATELAINE (or Clareinch as it was originally known) has 6 bedrooms with private bath with either shower or clawfooted tub and a 2 bedroom suite sharing a common bath.
