With only fiften rooms, La Maison Sainte-Ursule is categorized as a Petit Hotel. Our rates (from CAD $ 49,00 to 139,00) make it a much sought after destination. Eight of them are located inside the Old House. Made of the local stone more than two centuries ago, it was, in 1786, the first house to be built on Sainte- Ursule street. As early as 1759, on these premises, a man by the name of Yves Philippon but known as Picard had erected a house made of wood. Purchased by the Ursulines, it was replaced in 1786 by the actual building.
At the back of the house, seven more rooms were added in the mid-twentieth century. Although undoubtedly denied the charm of the Old House, they have the advantage of opening directly onto the garden, which to many is a very desirable quality, especially in summer.
