Directions from Montreal to Quebec
From the 20 EAST
Exit Pont Pierre Laporte, cross the bridge, EXIT Chemin St-Louis (175 EST), follow this direction straight ahead, for about 20 minutes. You will see the wall city, cross the wall Porte Saint-Louis (vault), go straight ahead until you see le château Frontenac on the right, take the 2nd vault on your right, at the Stop, go to the end of the street and
you will see the hotel.
From the 40 EAST
Go straight ahead, the highways transforms itself in Boulevard Charest EST. Go straight ahead and you will see a gas station IRVING on your right forms a V between 2 streets. Keep left from the gas station. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right on DORCHESTER and go up on CÔTE D’ABRAHAM, at the last traffic light, keep left and you will see the parliament, do half turn and go straight ahead. At the traffic light make a left. You will see the wall city, cross the wall Porte Saint-Louis (vault), go straight ahead until you see le château Frontenac on the right, take the 2nd vault on your right, at the Stop, go to the end of the street and you will see the hotel.
FROM MAINE USA
Keep going on 201 NORTH. After passing the canadian border, the 201 becomes the 173 NORTH (provincial road à green panel) then it will transforms itself in 73 NORTH (national hwy à blue panel).
ON THE 173 NORTH, YOU SHOULD SEE ONE OF THESE NAMES : ST-GEORGES DE BEAUCE, STE-MARIE DE BEAUCE, LÉVIS, PONT PIERRE LAPORTE (bridge). The 73 North will join the 20 EAST. In between these 2 roads, always follow Québec, Pont Pierre Laporte. You must catch the exit where it is written PONT PIERRE LAPORTE.
EXIT Pont Pierre Laporte, cross the bridge, EXIT on the right at Chemin St-Louis (175 EST), follow this direction straight ahead, for about 20 minutes. You will see the wall city, cross the wall Porte Saint-Louis (arch or vault), go straight ahead until you see le château Frontenac (orange bricked castle) on the right, take the 2nd vault on your right, at the Stop, go to the end of the street and you will see the hotel where the panel says Château de la Terrasse. We are next to the American consulate.
