This museum is, first of all, dedicated to the history of the island, and secondly, to the natural sciences. When you visit the Alfred Desgagnés room, you get a good idea of how the first inhabitants of the island lived. But if your interests lean towards natural history, you must visit the Marie Harvey room where, exposed for the eyes of the young and old, are insect collections and different stuffed animals.
