The Île-d’Entrée is a small island inhabited by English speaking people and is the only inhabited island not linked to the archipelago. Accessible by boat in summer or by plane in winter, this island offers a virgin nature and breathtaking landscapes. Its mound Big Hill, the tallest in the Islands with a height of 570 feet, offers an extraordinary scenic point. Come admire the lighthouse, the Anglican Church and the little museum. From the chemin Mountain, observe the birds nested on the cliff. Stop at the Musée historique de l’Île d’Entrée and learn more about the history of the island’s occupation (opened from June to September, free admittance). To get to the Île d’Entrée, a ferry boat goes back and forth everyday, except on Sunday.
