BACKGROUND

In the mid sixties, Leo and Roger Doucet were the owners of a piece of land along the Becancour River at St-Celestin. The beach was beautiful and, occasionnally, some people would camp there. That is why, they decided to make a camping ground which they called Val-Léro. The name was formed from a valley where it is located (for VAL) and the two first letters of their names (LERO).

 

Many improvements were made since that time and today the camping offers 283 well landscaped sites with all the facilities.

 

Since December 2004, the owners are Gaetan Poisson & Michele Fournier
